The processes of borate formation in binary mixtures {RCO3+2H3BO3 (R=Ba,Sr,Ca)} begin at the temperature intervals: 515620C (barium), 520715C (strontium) and 596715C (calcium). The formation of liquid phase B2O3 promotes these processes at low temperatures. The formation of ternary alkaline earth aluminium borates within ternary mixture{RCO3+2H3BO3+2Al(OH)3} is preceded by the formation of binary alkaline earth borates and 2Al2O3.B2O3 .The formation of ternary aluminium borates starts at a temperature of750C (barium), 830C (strontium) and 960C (calcium). Usage of previously synthesised metaborates excluding the binary borates formation stage, reduced the temperature of ternary alkaline earth aluminium borates formation within the calcium system from 960down to 910C. The glass forming process involves the alkaline earth aluminium borates formation and their eutectic melting with binary alkaline earth borates, or melting only ternary aluminium borates.
